The typical row-house facade in the neighbourhood consists two parts of void (balcony) and solidness (room) running vertically. By re-thinking the role of each part, we create a hybrid facade where the void and solidness are formed by folding of one plane, thus blurs the boundary between them. The balconies on each floors still overlap in order for the drainage system runs vertically. The main structure remains the same except the demolishing of a middle section (10 m2) to bring natural light and ventilation for all of the rooms. At the ground floor, the level of each functions are differed which is inspired by "Raumplan" in which each of the space are tailored 3-dimensional, not only to its width and length but also to its height.
